Amy Sheldon MEd, MSW, LCSW

Amy Sheldon is the Practice Director and Owner of Early Childhood Partners In Practice LLC.  She is a licensed clinical social worker who has provided services to children, families, and support professionals for over 20 years. 

She has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including homes, schools, hospitals, and childcare centers. Amy has extensive experience in providing for the early childhood population developmental assessments, behavioral consultations, and mental health counseling. These experiences have greatly informed the way she works with young children and their families and her approach to understanding each child’s connection between physical development and behavioral health. 

One of Amy’s specialty areas is early childhood mental health.  She has conducted national and international trainings on the topic through her work with ZERO TO THREE. Through that organization, Amy gained opportunities to work closely with military communities, as well as develop materials, trainings, and consultation for professionals who work closely with young children and their families.

Amy received her bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona, a Master of Education in Counseling and Human Relations from Northern Arizona University, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
